This is my covid piece - finally hung out in April 2023 along the route I walked so often during those days of isolation; my only companions being earphones and an android. The democracy of the phone as camera, with its ability to record random thoughts, seemed appropriately diaristic.
Eventually a few of these pictures married up with some of the verses. I have now scattered ten of these along the route from North Shields to Whitley Bay, encapsulated as a record of that journey. Blowing in the northerlies.
