The Dog Ate My Wheelchair is a project I produced in partnership with Disability North. It is a four screen video piece that was sited around Newcastle upon Tyne as part of the Great Exhibition of the North.
The aim was to give visibility to the participants, who in some way identify as 'disabled' or 'different'. Using objects and the idea of 'place' as a starting point we bypassed galleries, taking it out onto the streets. A shop window in a busy shopping centre, a high footfall bus station and Newcastle Central Library were the venues for this installation - which is episodic in nature and encourages viewers to go see the next one.

Four screens were installed with vinyl artwork. The two seen here are in the Haymarket bus station and Intu Eldon Square shopping complex.
